Wow. The video was disturbing. It’s one thing to know that we are not built to withstand depressurization, and another to see someone pass out in less than 4 minutes.

Morel hunting is fun – definitely something you should try at least once! Nothing like taking some time to roam quietly about in the woods – on the hunt for culinary treasure! But take someone who has been before with you – they can help lead you in the right direction on where to look, etc.

I’d be happy to take you morel hunting. We just went yesterday evening and came home with a couple of pounds in about 3 hours total from leaving to getting back home. We have some in the freezer and dried in jars already, so these are just for eating!

I’m much too chicken to hunt mushrooms. I’m pretty sure I’d poison myself….

Toulouse Petit has a fantastic morel gnocchi dish — I had it on Friday. It’s so good, I’d almost be tempted to try hunting for morels!
