Do you happen to have a copy of the current Disc Makers catalog (shown above) taking up valuable space on your dining room table? I’d like to persuade you to trade it to me for, uh, something of equal value. You see, that is Scott’s current CD* shown on the cover and we’d really like to have a copy for posterity. Funnily enough, we don’t get the Disc Makers catalog anymore. Do you have one you’re willing to part with? Let me know and we’ll make a deal, notmartha AT gmail DOT com, thanks. Ok, I have secured one, thanks to everybody who wrote in. I somehow suspected Disc Makers sent out an awful lot of these.
* His CD Release Show is Friday, July 18th at Egan’s in Ballard, you should come!

I work for a rival company, and we get DiscMakers catalogs all the time. I’ll keep an eye out for one.
BTW, if you’re looking for alternatives, check out disk.com. We’re usually very competitive in pricing. (Sorry for the unsolicited advertisement!)

I’ll check at home for my boyfriend’s latest issue but that doesn’t look familiar.
And Ballard has some great musical venues. I got sort of kicked out of my boyfriend’s show in Ballard for being underage.

That is so cute. I love it when stuff like that happens to people. I was always jealous I never got picked for my high school’s website or catalogs.

My sister used to work for Discmakers;was in charge of finding projects to be photographed. She always sent a thank you letter to the artist and 20 copies of the catalog. She recommends this: call your account manager and get a few copies mailed; she used to send boxes of catalogs to people if they were having a CD release party, too. My brother-in-law also worked at Discmakers. He said just call them and have them send 10 copies. That’s usually the deal for artists they feature.

Thanks Amy, we’ll be doing this. And thanks to everybody who offered to send a copy, we’ve got a few making their way to us so we’re all set.
