Not Martha

it’s all about the rechargeable lights these days

I’ve been considering getting some Candela lights. I like soft glowy light at night, but I don’t tend to buy candles. I think these would be great to keep in the dining room as a quick way to make a regular dinner more romantic. And now that we have a deck I’m eyeing the Luau portable lamp as well.

And this is a bit late, but take a look a the holiday Fun with Candelas which include PDF instructions on how to make a tree, snowman or angel.

the candelas are cool, but the 5-yr old in me has always wanted the candeloos.

I just bought these for my sister for Christmas after lusting for a while…they’re fantastic! Highly recommend them.

I use candelas inside glass vases in my fireplace (it doesn’t get cold enough here for real fires) for a different look.

My nieces got candeloos for christmas last year…and, yeah, they’re pretty great looking.

i’m not a candle person either, which is why i actually bought a set of candelas. my initial four-pack stopped working after just a few months (i think there was a problem with the batteries in the early-on candelas). my newer set has been in fine working condition for about five months now. they’re also great for helping houseguests find their way around the house in the dark.

I have a set. I leave them beside my bed. If you put them near your book your can use them to read – and feel like a kid again.
