This isn’t so much a project as a quick little thing I use regularily: facial cleanser and baking soda facial scrub I have sensitive skin. Anything citrus-y or scrubby will irritate my face, and it’ll stay mad at me for a very, very long time. This combination is wonderful though! I feel like a cover girl model afterwards. I first found out about this in a book by Paula Begoun, here’s what she has to say:
I also really like Paula’s facial cleanser and toner, they are the only one I’ve found that are fragrance free (I hate the fragrances put into facial products, haaate them). She gives it to you straight on sun damage. |

I know this is a little late, given that the first comment is from a little over two years ago, however, for those reading it now, like myself, I recommend the BareEscentuals (sp?) mineral facewash. I have very sensitive skin and this stuff is amazing. It actually comes as a powder and you add a bit of water, scrub on, wipe off. It’s really improved my skin quite a bit in the little time that I have had it. Just thought I would share!

I mix a pinch of baking soda with a small amount of honey to wash my face. Honey is antibacterial and the baking soda exfoliates. Try it!

I’ve used rice powder, which I think is gentler. It’s worked well with my rosacea.

Try http://www.Arbonne.com for cleansers and moisturizers without fragrance, dyes (which are the two leading skin irritants) or artificial preservatives.
