We actually call “wine chicken” “drunken chicken” in Cantonese.
We have great soup dumpling in Toronto, too! Drunken chicken is an at home dish, so I wouldn’t have thought of ordering it in a restaurant.

I made the ginger syrup last night. It is deadly. I think I’m going to make a jar for everyone I know who has a Soda Stream.
I splashed orange juice in my ginger drinK, because I was too lazy to cut open a lemon or lime. Tasted fantastic.
