I baked the buttered popcorn chocolate chunk cookies this weekend with microwave popcorn and Callebut dark chocolate since they were what I had on hand and Oh.My.Word. they were delicious. I polished off the last ones while watching The Hobbit (best study break ever).

Jamie – I’m so glad to know! I have not made the cookies yet but they sound like the perfect (or the most evil of all) snack for marathon couch moving watching.

Jen – That fine mesh strainer thing was the tip I was missing from my own method. I’d read before that one should actually use kitchen shears to cut away the raggedy white edge and, ugh, that is too much for me.
