I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Sonos! I would’ve been happy with a little speaker, but my husband likes himself a GOOD speaker. I love all the options I have with it!

I can also second the Sonos recommendation. Leff and I use it for both Mog and Spotify as well as Six Music and assorted internet things. “Remote control” on phones is ace.

It *can* be a bit spotty when trying to stream music from collections on hard drives, fwiw. Also, sometimes issues when hooking up mp3 players directly with the cable for whatever reason.

Oooh, you both have me thinking I need this. I have zero playlists — actually the only music I’ve bought has been the Dr. Horrible soundtrack on my iPhone which Apple refused to recognize the last time I upgraded hardware. Since Scott is a musician type good audio is appreciated around this house.

I’m thirding the Sonos. Seriously, the best purchase my husband has made. At first I was a little sad that we were replacing our Bose, but honestly the sound is great and it comes with SO MANY music options. If I don’t want spotify or my own playlists, I choose the billion radio stations that they offer. Honestly, it might be the best invention no one knows about.
