I read in bed before going to sleep and usually Scott falls asleep before me so I have to be quiet which is a problem because this book makes me laugh out loud. I insist you go read it. And if you don’t already read Jenny Lawson’s site, The Bloggess, I insist you go read that too. Also she’s on her book tour and, yay!, she’s going to be here in Seattle this Thursday and Friday. Nothing wakes my husband up. My laughing while reading this book woke him up. More than once. Just finished it and I am in withdrawal.

Seriously! The only other time I have had to surpress laughter while reading was Simon Rich’s Free Range Chickens which I still have not finished because the only time I get to read is in bed and Scott continues to insist on this thing called sleep.

I love Jenny, her blog and her book. She says what I want to say so often, but don’t.
I aspire to be a free as she is although, I think my Dan would be just like Victor if I did.

I, too, tried reading this in bed while my husband slept and laughed so hard i woke him up. Thanks for reccomending it!
