I love the temporary wall paper. Especially the ones you can paint yourself. It looks like it would be a ton of fun!

I LOVE the nail and string letters wall art! Such a simple and beautiful installment. Can't wait to try that out someday when I have the space for it.

Given that back in my high school days there was a fad for necklaces that were glass pendants with about a teaspoon of mercury sloshing around in them, and that people broke them on purpose to play with said mercury *at* school. I'm not worried about the ammount of mercury in a CFL bulb, really. Misspent and ill-advised youth aside, I bought the enclosed style cfl for my daughter's bedside lamp, and the hanging lantern over my desk. So for anyone really worried, there are options beyond LEDs and old school bulbs.

I actually knocked over a lamp and broke a CFL bulb last weekend! I googled to find the required cleanup process and was absolutely horrified!! I followed all the steps, but am really questioning the wisdom of having these things in my house if a minor household chore (in this case, flipping the mattress) can result in this.
