new Komforte Chockolates flavors

Komforte Chockolates

As you read this I’m probably speaking at School House Craft (it’s three whole days, you can still join us!) with Blair of Wise Craft and Molly of Orangette. Among the perks of getting to do this was a great lunch at Blair’s very awesome and welcoming home, getting to see her amazing string art and being gifted the new flavors of Komforte Chockolates bars. The Apple Pie + Graham is deliciously comforting and the Savory Ramen is challenging in the best way. I liked it, a lot.

I really liked their tortilla and lime, so I would probably love these. I’ll have to check and see if they have made it to Cardullos.

So interesting! Savory Ramen sounds like it might be a bit too “out there” for me to eat on a regular basis but the other flavors all sound intriguing. I’d probably buy a Savory Ramen just to say I tried it if I ever saw one. :)

We should just make a standing date every few months, or whenever it would work, to get together for lunch. I would love that. Today was great, I enjoyed it all! So glad you love the bars!

I know I’m commenting on an old post, but I’m just that far behind in my blog reading. I recently visited the Seattle Chocolates factory/warehouse/retail store where they sell everything, including their seconds. And it turns out they actually make the chocolates for Komforte. There were some bags of the Savory Ramen as seconds ($5 for a pound) and I got to try a sample (strange but good). Check them out, they’re in Tukwila, south of the mall.
