    I love looking at the giant old map on my parents’ entry hall – it’s not quite that old, but I still like seeing Zaire and Rhodesia and the USSR up there.

    Reading about Tea’s and your cookbook club has me so jealous! I don’t have a large enough circle of cooking-interested friends; perhaps I can get the Seattle CraigsList page to start a new section for those seeking cookbook clubs…

    I have been quoting the item about the Oxford comma for more than a week now. It is hilarious! I also like one of the ones linked off of it that involves Kennedy and Stalin.
