Kickmap NYC 24 | app.itize.us. From the entry: “Since relocating New York, this app has come in handy when navigating the various subway stops to and from Brooklyn. Its taken the simplicity of Massimo Vignellis original design and modernized it to be used w/ gestural interactions. They also have a day/night view w/ changes to subway stop coverage. Simple, elegant and colorful and useful to boot!”

I used to lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and saw them a couple times. They were neat, but I didn’t realize how rare they are or how much people seek them out. Very much took my experiences for granted.

Also caught them in Green Bay, Wisc., once – in the summer! It seemed like a total freak occurrence, but it was the best display I’d seen, magical and all that.

I used the Sleeping In Airports when I was traveling in Italy.I was lucky sleeping across from a kind man in Rome that watched my spot in the middle of the night when I had to go to the bathroom and I watched his spot.I was quite proud of myself and I wasn’t to scared!

I can vouch that the bus to/from the lagoon is great. They store your luggage for free and it is a relaxing thing just before a flight. Best money we ever spent.
