I’m going to experiment with using more images in links posts. A lot of these were found using Pinterest, which I have been liking a lot.
Minimal Easter Eggs at Pickles. Very simple idea decorating eggs using white puffy paint, I love this.
Homemade Cadbury Creme Eggs | Not Without Salt. These adapted a bit from the Instructables project but I like these because she uses Golden Syrup, which I’m having a bit of a crush on at the moment.
Wheat Grass at Design Mom. Good practical tips for growing wheat grass as a project for Spring.
Crepe Paper Surprise Carrots, at Martha Stewart. Just like surprise balls and pretty darn cute.
Secret Message Easter Egg, made by Present&Correct and seen over at Poppy Talk. This is so sweet.
Pixie Dust Easter Egg favor, at Family Fun. A very cute idea.
Cake baked in egg shells! Genius! At Delicious Days.

Awesome! I like the added pictures. :) I adore those white eggs painted with puffy paint — what a great way to create texture on the egg. Thanks for sharing.

The cake baked in egg shells are lovely, but I would be tempted to serve them in shell. It looked like they were pre-shelled for the eaters after baking.

Great ideas! I’ve been seeing more recipes with golden syrup. Where do you find it in Seattle?

Cakes baked in eggs is one of my projects this year, I found the idea here originally! Thanks!

Seanna Lea – I would serve them in the shells too!
Susan – I’ve found golden syrup in my small-ish QFC down here at Beacon Hill. Larger QFCs have a small section of British items, you might check there as well, otherwise I think it would be in with the maple syrups, or maybe in the baking aisle with the corn syrup?

Megan, it is so delightful that you have a crush on Lyle’s golden syrup.

Yes! I love that you added pictures. Now I don’t have to click on every single link and then go back and read your comments. Thanks!

pictures are nice, but don’t feel pressured :) I think your link lists come in small enough chunks that people will read them without pictures (I do!)

Mitra – Oh no, I think it’s a very good thing for you to click over and view new websites from mine.
Jen – Thank you. I certainly won’t always have photos as many of the things I link to are photo-less. I’ll probably round up stuff from Pinterest from time to time.

Ah, wheatgrass! It is as close to instant garden gratification as you can get. HOWEVER. This year my Wheatgrass is emitting small bubbles of liquid from the tips of the grass. I haven’t searched thoroughly yet, but I can’t find a decent explanation anywhere…everyone is too busy trying to sell me juicers. Have you stumbled across anything else interesting and wheatgrass-related?

Zom – Sorry, I got nothing.
