[a close up of white stranded Christmas lights]

Today I learned that my little-er camera needs to manually be set to macro (I knew this but was in denial) and that even when in macro it still won’t focus on the point you’d like if that point is very bright. Good to know.

These are some Christmas lights that currently sit where a low cocktail table will live, just as soon as I find the absolute perfect one.

Enjoyed the high focus of the foreground juxtaposed to the immediately out of focus middle and background, thanks!

I love white christmas lights and I love that you found ones with white wires. So much better than the green wires!

You should be able to trick the camera into focusing where ever you want by holding down the button to focus it on an area that isn’t bright and then moving the camera to where you’d like it to actually shoot while still holding the button down. Does that make sense? If not, I’d be happy to show you the next time we run into each other.
