Today we went to the Emerald City Comicon and R2D2 came over to say hi. This robot was very impressive, it chirped and whistled at us and even appeared to have Tatooine dust on it. The guy controlling it was sitting very nonchalantly off to one side and hid the controller behind a newspaper. It was really fun to watch the kids who came through go a little crazy with joy.

Thank you for the Netflix link! We are obsessed with the Watch Instantly feature in the Kinne house.

Megan, have you gone to EMP to see the Battlestar Galactica exhibit yet?? Perfect place to nerd out. Highly recommend it.

Jeannette – We have not been there for the BSG exhibit, must do this for next rainy weekend.

Awesome. My husband for some reason doesn’t like Star Wars much (I think he grew up in a Star Trek only household), but I loved R2 growing up, especially the PSAs!

I was at ECCC Sunday, and I didn’t see R2! Now I’m sad. Still, even without R2, it was a great Sunday afternoon.
