Oddly enough I bought some Pro longwear lipcolor. I didn't like the lipcolor, but I love the gloss coat that comes with it. It's not sticky but it's pretty and glossy. It certainly isn't the overwhelming cake batter sweetness that lots of the lip glosses in Sephora seem to have. The stand alone stores have a wider range of trade in options than the counters. I don't know if stand alone MAC stores are a West coast thing, I hadn't encountered one until we got to Seattle. So, not a lot of stores around but they are near you!
