    Those pizza cups look awesome.

Inspired by your cake-on-Fridays post from last week, I made a cake for my friends and I to enjoy Friday night.

3 layer dark chocolate cake with whipped chocolate ganache frosting and marshmallow fondant. It was my first time making/using fondant after I read about a marshmallow fondant technique on a few weeks ago.

    My cake!

Jen – Hooray! And, I saw your question on Ask Metafilter yesterday about which cartoon character your shark resembles.

I’ve been doing a mocktail series lately on my blog (if you’ll forgive the link) and it’s been really fun. Also, why aren’t cobblers more popular? Seriously, Team Scott.

Ha! The internet is such a tiny place sometimes.

It was Daggett the beaver, by the way!

Smittenkitchen’s chocolate cake is really making the rounds lately. I made it last week – it’s quite good!

Lynn – All I needed to read was that it was a one-bowl cake and I was sold.

Sorry Megan, another vote for team Scott on the cobbler front (especially if it is blackberry cobbler).
