I’m amazed at the jello molds. I don’t want to eat the stuff, but I never even thought about all of the things that could be done with it.

Trifle in a jar – I would find a biscuit cutter slightly smaller than the jar and make little rounds of cake for these.

i love the individual trifles- the big ones always look so cool but then as soon as you serve it entropy takes over.
those little glass jars work wonderfully for a layered summer salad, too- i do it with tomatoes, cucumber, cooked and cooled white beans and feta, then drizzle it all with a lemony vinaigrette. it’s the envy of every picnic!
