Flint Knits » supersad news generates supercute pattern: Willie!. Like she mentions, this would be a great first project to introduce yourself to intarsia knitting. It was created to help with some vet bills for this adorable puppy who broke his leg, poor guy. And there is a Juniper Moon Fiber Farm CSA giveaway for those who buy the pattern by May 3rd.

Poor little puppy! I don’t know what I’d do if our pupster broke his leg, though I’m sure it wouldn’t cost quite so much (being adult body age even if he still has the mind of a puppy).

I started looking at those Dr. Who scarves, and thinking, weren’t the Dr. Who scarves black and grey? I don’t remember them being all those colors…. then it dawned on me, we had a black & white TV at the time! LOL.

My husband, a Doctor Who fanatic, would die if I made him that scarf. I thought about it once, but I’m a pretty bad knitter, and we live in New Orleans. He would hardly get any use out of it.
