Wow - what timing! Thank you for that sparkling cranberry recipe! I made them last year and had just started searching everywhere for the recipe. They are beautiful and oh-so-yummy!

I make those cranberries every year, and definitely recommend adding some orange zest or juice to the simple syrup. Oranges and cranberries go great together. I just use regular sugar, because I am lazy. They are completely addicting.
I just yesterday bought several bags of cranberries to freeze, hoping that I can make them later in the year - because cranberries can't be found after the holidays.
