    One of my students is making me a portable iPod/iPhone charger out of an Altoids tin, 2 AA batteries and 2 9 volt batteries. He’s using an old USB port dealie he already has.

    I won’t be able to take it on an airplane, but it’ll work well and I paid him $5 and gave him all the stuff!
