This is cool, as part of the new Repro Depot stuff for Chronicle Books they are releasing two different surface pattern books with a CD containing patterns you can use to make your own stationery, crafts and anything you can think of. They have Folk and Flora, both with a foreword from Grace Bonney of Design*Sponge. The collection also includes stationary, notecards and a journal.

This is fantastic! Can't wait to get a copy. I think I want the folk- perhaps it has more variety in patterns than the Flora?

OOh, I want!
To be clear though, does it print the patterns with a colored printer? Or do you have to buy the paper for the projects of stationary?

Hi Jo - It prints with a colored printer, no need to buy special paper for these!

I know, I know, I'm a noodge... but ever since my graphic design professor threatened to flunk anyone who spelled it wrong, it's been burned into my brain:
Things that don't move = stationARY
Envelopes, letterhead, etc = stationERY
Oh, and very cool books!

Oops, thanks Monica, I need contextual spell check.

LOVE!I drooled over these recently at a bookstore in Japantown -- where, btw, everything is adorable. Then last night I broke down and got the Folk book. I can't wait to do amazing things with all the awesomeness!
