My friend Scott will be thrilled to know that “orange is THE color this season” considering we’ve been trying to convince him that all orange furniture is a bad idea for 10 years now. I’ll be sure to point him in the direction of those pod chairs.

I loved your idea in Real Simple and I found my way to you despite the typo in the print edition. Thanks!

    Steffy – If it’s a bad idea I accept no responsibility :)

Thanks Rachel! I’m glad to know you found me.

I love the idea of the spice cabinet. I’ve got an entire set of shelves devoted to my spices, but they don’t all fit and they are hard to see. I wish I had a cupboard like that which I coudl repurpose! I think I’ll need to come up with another idea!

That quilted sofa looks so napworthy.

I have a similar shoe rack to the one on Swissmiss, but for some reason, my shoes never find their way too it.

Instead they end up under my itchy sofa.

Our ironing board slot was transformed into a spice rack too! I love it!

Thank you SO much for the little box ideas! That solves our dilemma!

And the ironing board to spice cabinet is really common here in Chicago. It is such a great idea.

I’m a big proponent of orange chairs. I have two (non matching) ones already. Orange has always been one of my favorite colors.

And thanks for linking to my kitchen windows!

Oops! Just saw my comment say “little box” – I meant “litter box.” Which I found on Ikeahacker by following the link to the medicine cabinet.

    Sorry for being very cryptic!
