Thank you so much to everybody for the good wishes! We have returned from a very relaxing time in Vegas and, I have to admit, I’m not ready to return just yet. Pictures soon!

Ooh, congratulations, married lady! I feel like you just announced your engagement yesterday. What a whirlwind it must have been. I’ve been engaged for three months and still have four months to go. (And made the mistake of going to an expo last week where every single vendor hyperventilated and made the sign of the cross when they heard I didn’t have a dress yet. Well, every vendor except the DJ, but he was a dude.)
In any event, I want to thank you for your wedding posts and links – I found some great resources through you and am excited to DIY and low-key a lot more than I thought I’d be able to.

Thanks Tasterspoon! We got engaged last Autumn but I wanted to savor it in private for a while (and make sure my friends all knew before I posted it here).
Congratulations to you, I hope you manage to avoid the faux-panic influence the overactive vendors!

Oh congrats! Somehow I totally missed your last post! I remember when you said you were planning your wedding – hope it was the low-key, low-stress event of your dreams :o)
