The books on my desk right now:
A Homemade Life: Stories and Recipes from My Kitchen Table (p.s. Molly is signing her book in Portland at Powell's tonight)
Button It Up: 80 Amazing Vintage Button Projects for Necklaces, Bracelets, Embellishments, Housewares & More, by Susan Beal of West Coast Crafty (due to a little shipping mix up I have an extra book so expect a giveaway of it next week). Congrats to Susan!
Linen, Wool, Cotton: 25 Simple Projects to Sew with Natural Fabrics, by Akiko Mano, gorgeously simple projects with well explained diagrams.
Mrs. Meyer's Clean Home: No-Nonsense Advice that Will Inspire You to CLEAN like the DICKENS, I'm hoping this will inspire me to get a little spring cleaning done.
Weekend Knitting: 50 Unique Projects and Ideas, this is a classic that has recently been released in paperback.

I just got "A Homemade Life" too. The author spoke at the Wednesday University lecture series and I was so impressed--I really wanted more. I'm really enjoying it.

Leonor, there are a zillion cleaning books already if you can't wait to get your hands on the Mrs Meyer's one. I'm not sure I've looked at the big Martha Stewart book, but I own a copy of Home Comforts, and the Real Simple cleaning book isn't bad -- it has some different ideas in comparison.
But I'm not commenting to say that -- I'm commenting to say that I'm pleased with the trend of translating some of the better J-craft books, particularly if they get translations that are good in the technical sense. (Not so good are things like the English-language Gothic Lolita Bibles: nice eye candy, but in V. 4, whoever did the project translations apparently didn't know the difference between knitting and crocheting.) I have a blog post planned with reviews of some faux-J-craft books, but I need to get around to writing it....

Homemade life is sooo good. I got it on a friend's recommendation having never read her blog and it is so good I couldn't put it down and plowed through it staying up late in 2 days.

Mrs. Meyers has a clean home book?! Great. Another one to add to my wish list.
