shoe rack in FamilyFun magazine

Hey look, FamilyFun magazine has a version of my shoe rack in their November 2008 magazine. I’m flattered they found the idea print worthy, thank you Family Fun.

This isn’t a magazine I’d normally pick up so I found myself pleasantly surprised by all the good ideas inside. Aut-yum Leaves:

Pumpkin Pie-sicles:

and Pop! Corn, a Thanksgiving version of a Christmas Cracker:

Also, this issue has the Toy of the Year Awards, which will come in very handy as Scott and I navigate our way through two birthdays and Christmas for a niece and nephew.

What is inside the Aut-yum leaves?

Alison – They have chocolate and peanut butter chips, but I think it would be far yummier with a cinnamon sugar mixture of some kind.

Family Fun is actually a great little magazine – they have very cute craft ideas, usually some good recipes, etc. My kids are almost getting too old for me to justify getting it (it’s cheap too – like $10/year!), but when I do decide to stop subscribing, I’ll definitely keep checking it out at our local library!

I love that magazine! I still have a couple years of issues on my shelf.

    Wow.
That could be really bad metaphor. :)

I always find at least one copy worthy idea from FF magazine. It’s also a quick fun read.

Family Fun is a fantastic magazine, especially for the crafty types, not just moms. I love it. They’ve got a talented staff with a good eye for crafts and decorating ideas.

I love Family Fun! And how cool that they have one of your ideas inside. I just got my new issue yesterday and can’t wait for a quiet moment to look through it. It really is a good magazine… I have let all my other subscriptions go by the wayside, but FF is one I cannot give up. Too many fun things to try!!

I can’t enlarge the photo so I can’t tell – did they give you credit?

jane – they did, it’s near the inside edge of the page, and they emailed me about it a while back.
