how to use metal rivets at U-Handblog
homemade deodorant at Angry Chicken
Fabric.com was bought by Amazon, at True Up
I need a craft that has tangible results! at Ask Metafilter
Sublime organic cotton, must check out this yarn
knit goldfish cracker at I Like Lemons. The pattern is by Kimber Chapman and I also like her mini easter egg toys.
There are a couple good patterns in Berroco's Cuzco & Peruvia booklet. I think I'd like a shorter version of Crotona.

I'm using the sublime organic cotton to crochet a scarf right now... I love it! Its so soft and smooth. As a beginning I'm having a little trouble because the hook tends to go through the yarn quite often... also- its drying out my hands something fierce. But I'll definitely be using it again for projects in the future.
My scarf is here: http://elementalcraft.blogspot.com/2008/07/busy-weekend.html

Oooh, I've been coveting Sublime since I saw it at Churchmouse on Bainbridge last month. But I'm not allowing myself to stash more yarn right now....

Crotona is cute- but yes, too long. The only thing I worry about with asymmetrical sweaters is how they might look when they are unbuttoned. I can't wear a sweater that I have to keep buttoned- it's a hot flash waiting to happen.
