cute post-it notes
I've been lazily looking for Post-it notes I don't hate and usually end up walking away from the horrible colors I find in office supply stores. There is nothing wrong with the traditional pale yellow but I've started to hang post-it notes from the edge of the shelf over my desk and really hoped to find some styles that worked well in my office. Look what I found at Target the other day:
Cute no? And I spotted some might-be-cute notes on the 3M site as well.
Oh gosh I hope a new era of not terrible Post-it notes is coming.

Oh, those are nice. And they don't make you feel like you're in kindergarten, like the bright shapes do!

I have the orange 3M ones in my office at the church-- they're so helpful (and just lovely)! You should most certainly enjoy them!

You know who has cute office supplies including post it notes and molded erasers? Daiso! I dont often make it to the one downtown, but the one in Alderwood has plenty

Thanks for all the others, suddenly I'm drowning in good sticky notes.

I am a post-it note whore...I love me some good post-its. I have the SeeJaneWork set in color block...love them! I use all of the bright colors from 3M in my classroom...the kids love making stories out of them - even in 8th grade.

I second the Daiso recommendation! I got a bunch of fun sticky notes there just last weekend; including some that, while just an ordinary pale pink, come in a funny googly-eyed dispenser. So it looks like a monster is sticking his tongue at you.

I love those yellow ones with flowers. I got some for myself at Target a few months ago. I also found some that were round and blue with a little bird on it. I've always been obsessed with Post-Its, and now that they're cute, I'm going to have to collect all the different patterns!

There's an adorable Sukie set from Chronicle, too: http://www.sukie.co.uk/sticky.html

Reading this thread is dangerous! That said, I just can't bring myself to pay $9 for post its to use at work.

Michael's has a pretty decent selection at times. I've found them in the $1 bin.

I love Post-its. We use them for everything in my second grade classroom. I have some of the shape ones, but I like how they have added the color to those. They even have ones with punctuation on them that are great for lessons.
Thank you Romy and Michele for inventing those awesome little lifesavers!

You could always use the more expensive ones to make cards with. Just buy the prefab plain cards at Michaels, they come in lots of sizes. Then glue the post it note to the front and instant card.
