Splatgirl - I glossed over it for the last sweater. I mention a few sources this post, I used the Knitter's Book of Finishing Techniques, this page at Streets and YOs, and this video at Knitting at Noon. It took a while, but the finished look is very nice, and it gives you something to grab onto when you're pulling on the sweater or getting ready to zip it up.

Jennie - I cannot wear wool, and it feels very scratchy and hot when I knit with it, so I knit with cotton instead. It isn't as pleasant as knitting with something with a lot of give, but I don't find it painful.

This is cute, but how do you stand to knit with cotton? Is the blend enough to take away the crazy pain it causes?
