Don't forget to also wash and dry the zipper (in a bag so it doesn't unzip and catch on your lovely new sweater) before you sew it into your sweater. Sometimes the zipper tape shrinks in the wash, too.

Hey, I don't have any advice on knitting, I've tried to learn a few times now but it hasn't worked.

I just wanted to say that I've been following your blog for a while on RSS (so i never end up commenting), but I really love it! I just caught up on a backlog of your posts and realized I've never commented before and should, since I end up bookmarking so many things you link!

Hello Jamie - I'm using size #4 needles, I was able to get pattern gauge with those.

Junkdrawer - So far no pilling, I've run it through the dryer twice now.

You should be able to just re-block the sweater next time it is wet and stretch it back into the right size. Also, try drying it with just air. The heat wouldn't be an issue then. Good luck getting it back to normal!

I just cast on for a sweater utilizing cotton ease too. Is your first on pilling since putting it into the dryer or was it pilling before your immediate dryer emergency? just curious....congrats on the sweater btw. Looks awesome.

I've recently discovered this site so I wasn't here for the first cardigan. I think the ribby cardi looks great. What size needles are you using for this sweater with the cotton ease?
