		<description>Psst. I&#039;ve had trouble keeping houseplants alive since we moved last year; our new place is a bit dim. 

This summer, I noticed that everything does fine when it&#039;s rooting in water. It&#039;s only the plants in soil that falter. 

So I&#039;ve started a mass of clippings in glass bottles, letting them take root and flourish without the soil. So far, it&#039;s been a mad success. Maybe that would work for you, too.</description>
