Spray on damp or dry hair. I wonder how well it works?

I've been wanting the Zeno for a couple of years now, but it just seems like such a massive investment for what it is. But if it works...? Priceless, really.
I never buy anything without reading the MUA reviews, and for the most part people seem to find that it works. I want, I want!

The ice cake dog thing is a cool idea, but the product is really just $30 for a bucket and a metal tray, right?

Bra baby - great idea. Can't you just use a lingerie bag? I don't wear underwire, though, so maybe I don't know.
I'd like someone (someone beside me, that is...) to try that Surf Spray recipe and report here.

Miss Sassy - I think the Bra Baby would be most useful for molded foam cups, which you don't want to be beaten around too much in the washer.

My dog was perfectly happy with an ice cube or three (simple fool that he was). I'm not too handy or "crafty," but I think I could make something similar with any bowl or container ... and put the result on a plastic plate, or even on the grass.

The amazon reviews of the bra baby are really horrendous, which made me very sad because it seems like a great product. But the Bra Ball gets much better reviews (though they seem the same to me). Has anyone else tried these?

Alison - Oh man, I didn't see the reviews on Amazon, they really are dismal. The Bra Ball looks much more hopeful, perhaps just because the thing stays shut in the washer. I have a front loading washer - I wonder if I'd have more trouble with it.

I bought the Bra baby and returned it after using it once. The product supposedly keeps your straps from being twisted. But even when I tucked my bra straps into the small holes, as instructed, the bra straps came out of the washer all twisted.
My friend bought me Woolite Bra Wash Bags (http://www.containerstore.com/browse/Product.jhtml?CATID=77006&PRODID=74310)that only cost $3 each. She got them from a grocery store in Sacramento, although I'm sure you can get them anywhere. They are circular bags that have two zippered compartments. You can put a bra in each compartment or even your underwear. The bag has some shape, so it protects your bras better than if you were to use a mesh bag (which I used to use).

I seem to recall getting an email from Kiehl's telling me that they are offering curbside service at the Newbury St., Boston location as well (makes sense, as street parking there is impossible, and the lots are outrageous). I can't find it now, though, to confirm (I didn't pay a whole lot of attention since I am carless.)

I use the surf spray recipe. It works, but it's better to use a little oil in it in addition OR instead of the gel. I use jojoba oil. Or you can use grapeseed or any type of oil you have on hand. less than a tsp per 8 oz. and a fragrance oil is fine.
