    It’s a different shade of brown, more like tan really, but you can find unbleached cupcake cups pretty easily. I know our co-ops here have them as do a few larger chain grocery stores.

    Thanks for the link to making a whimsy cake (they’re originally from Polly’s Cakes & copyrighted as sculpture to boot!)

    I can’t help but think that whimsical tiered cupcakes are the way to go though . . . They’re already angled a bit and have multiple baking sizes. If you screw up hugely, it’s not a waste of batter – plenty more cupcakes to practice on.

    Chronographia – I did that with cupcakes once. It wasn’t all that serious and looks sort of messy. Now I want to try it again!
