In the August Lucky Magazine the shopping guide is all about the Bay Area, including a shop called Pink Tangerine right here in Menlo Park. Ok, so I've never been inside of Pink Tangerine but I pass it all the time on my way to buy overpriced salads at Draegers.

The wedding we went to in Ohio was wonderful, the weather was perfect, the location was beautiful, and a sister of the bride brought a 5 pound bag of gummy bears which had been soaked in vodka for a week. This lead to some discussion of making jello shot orange slices, and someone came up with the idea of using tequila soaked gummy worms inside of (oversized) jello lime or lemon slices. I'll have to work on this one.

ljc talked about finding Serendipity's Frozen Hot Chocolate Mix at Williams-Sonoma a while back. I didn't see any when I checked but it's in the WS catalog I got yesterday, they have frozen coffee mix as well, I think I need both. A few months ago I bought some pumpkin melamine mixing bowls because they were so cheery, and now I want everything orange - Waring blender, KitchenAid mixer, spatulas, chairs and stools, and even an espresso maker. My orange seltzer siphon is doing well, we use it continuously, I love it. A long time ago I ran across a site about a girl who had an entirely orange kitchen, I cannot find it again, does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I went all the way to Ohio and all I got was this incredibly bad cold. Ugh. That goodness for InMotion: two movies and an episode of Six Feet Under helped make my miserable flight go a little faster.
