I'm looking for an aqua or teal wall around the Palo Alto area (that is, anywhere on the peninsula really) for a sort of photo shoot. I want something saturated but not dark, and nothing tending towards being neutral. I'm hoping for a wall that has at least 7' tall and 7' wide patch of color, large enough for a person to stand in front of. Hopefully something in a quiet industrial area where no one will mind a few people taking pictures on a weekend. (No, it's nothing naughty, shame on you.) The only one I know of for sure is a place called Repo Depo somewhere off Middlefield in Mountain View, but if by any strange chance you know of one, let me know. Thanks!

Last night I made chicken parmesan (ok, it was a spicy chik'n patty covered with jarred tomato sauce and grated kraft parmesan), I don't eat like this every night (ok, I do).

Check out Squibnocket's new homemade curtains. Pretty!
From today's Daily Candy, Homework (warning: flash) is pretty. I especially like the items which take me back to kid-dom -- the Bubble Gum Rings, real silver or pink gold cast in actual prize ring molds; and the Rocking Cell Clock, a little desktop clock which is a Weeble toy in disguise.

Page 61 of the most recent Bitch magazine says "The Internet is filled with self-proclaimed feminist sites with names like Crafty Bitch, Not Martha, and Disgruntled Housewife, offering domestic advice and crafting tips". I never proclaimed myself a feminist. I did a search and the word "feminist" turns up on my site (all archives included) once - in the link to Bitch magazine itself.

The plan for this evening is fondue desert. We got a fondue pot for Christmas (yay!) so we're going to do a chocolate night. Fresh fruit, almonds, and tiny macaroons. I want the red fork. I found a chocolate fondue recipe the first place I looked - Yum! Chocolate Fondue.
And for sometime later popcorn balls at Out of the Frying Pan.
