I love the idea of this - a cuticle moisturizer pen. But this is just oil, I'd like a balm like consistency (perhaps something like those eyeliner sticks?). Anyone know of one? Anyone have any ideas for containers I could use to make one of my own? This long thin lip balm tube (all the way to the right in the photograph) seems a too thick still.

From what I'm hearing you may want to wait until next week or next month to give blood. According to my local news the Red Cross is concerned that if everyone gives blood now and there is a need for it in a few weeks we may be out. They also said that blood only keeps for about a month. Does anyone know any more about this?

How are you? I hope all your loved ones are well and safe. All this kinda makes everything else seem so very insignificant huh? Let me know how you're doing, I'm worried about you. I'm ok, everyone is accounted for, it's still sinking in.

Yesterday morning we were having breakfast in our usual little place when a couple walks in to get some take out. She was wearing a vintage lace dress from the 20s, carrying a parasol, had a hat secured with a hat pin atop her swept up hair and had antique high heel shoes with a strap which buttoned. He was wearing a shirt and tie under a sweater vest, short knicker pants, argyle knee socks and straw hat with a striped band. They were carrying a big picnic basket. They looked fantastic down to each little detail, including her makeup and the way her hair was curled. We were close enough to overhear them telling the owner that they were on their way to A Gatsby Summer Afternoon held by The Greater Bay Area Costumer's Guild - which Mena linked to a while back. It looked like such fun!

Oops, almost forgot cocktails with kiehl has moved, that is the new link. While on the subject, I'd like to say I had my first mojito not too long ago, yummy! Here are two recipes for you: one and two.
kiehl links to this collection of very sensible ways to avoid a hangover, anyone got any good ways to cure a hangover once the damage is done? I go for the greasy breakfast thing.
