What I've been thinking about. I want to make my own window shades that either lift up from the bottom or drop down from the top, or both, so I can shade the table while eating breakfast. I want sun on my toes but not my face. From my initial planning, it seems like a much bigger job than I originally imagined. I also want to sew a light-weight cotton shoulder bag for summer, I don't like thick nylon straps in the heat. I was thinking about making a special compartment to stitch one of those metal flip top glasses cases upright inside so I cannot smash my glasses under the weight of the contents of my bag.
